ETSP Projects
Art and Enterprise Project 2017

Working in partnership with Bow Arts Education we delivered a series of art workshops for pupils from either Year 1, 3, 4 or 5 across 13 of our schools. These pupils took part in workshops with a professional artist-educator to develop their own collaborative works in a range of mediums. Schools worked in four clusters with artists who specialised in different genres: printmaking, textiles, willow, felt and wire. The project was supported by The Old Enfield Charitable Trust and The Ernest Cook Trust.

The pupils worked incredibly hard to create original artworks AND develop a range of products featuring their designs  to sell in Enfield Town Market. Pupils exhibited their final artwork at The Dugdale Centre and were very excited to see the Mayor of Enfield, Christine Hamilton, and Cllr Ayfer Orhan, Enfield Council’s cabinet member for education, children’s services and protection, admiring their artwork. On the same day pupils showed great initiative and enterprise skills by selling all of their art enterprise products on a stall at Enfield Town Market.
